Matt, Bass Specialist

Matthew has studied the double bass with Rick Crane, Todd Coolman, Greg Cohen and John Edwards. He earned his B.M. (Hons.) from Kingston University, UK. Mr. Kloss is also a devoted student of the cello.

Mr. Kloss has performed with The Richmond Chamber Orchestra (UK), The Wayne Chamber Orchestra, and The South Orange Symphony Orchestra.

Matthew is much in demand as a sideman. His versatility encompasses a kaleidoscopic range of musical styles. Mr. Kloss appears on "Postcards from Summerisle" (Tummy Touch, 2004), with percussionist Patrick Dawes of Groove Armada, and Ritchie Havens Band. Kloss also appears on a tribute version of The Clash's classic album, "Sandinista!" with Myrna Marcarian, founder of the iconic cult band Human Switchboard.
